As technology advances, the ability to generate, collect and analyze data from a variety of sources and applications is critical for many industries. The MSc Data Science teaches you how to apply critical mathematical thinking to a wide range of data types. You start by learning programming modules, data analysis techniques and the mathematical foundations of  data science. You will continue to use these skills in machine learning and data visualization.

You will benefit by highlighting real-world workflows and applying techniques, using case studies and working with real data sets. After the program, you can complete a year of industrial training, allowing you to gain valuable work experience relevant to your career aspirations.  We deliver all computer programs in  active blended learning, and most lectures have been replaced by workshops and seminars.
