Course Details

The Graduate Diploma in Actuarial Science offers possible exemptions from the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (UK) Technical Core Subjects 1-8 (CT1-8) examinations. If you have previous actuarial exemptions, you can choose to study all or part of the curriculum to study the Core Applications 1 (CA1) program at the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (UK). Therefore the program is suitable for students without; previous exemptions and students who wish to add existing exemptions.

Results of the Programme
Approach problems analytically, accurately and rigorously Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the basic skills required of the intern, including data collection methods, development of statistical methods, and analysis of statistical results. Demonstrate a strong command of appropriate computational methods Present technical material orally at a level appropriate to the audience Model real problems using the relevant framework and make predictions and analyze risks accordingly Prepare written reports in clear and precise language on technical subjects of statistics, actuarial and finance
