Course Details

If you are interested in helping an accountant, but your bachelor's degree is not related to accounting, this is the program for you. This 2-year intensive conversion course includes a Professional Diploma in Accounting in Year 1 and a 1-year Master in Accounting in Year 2. First-year students must achieve an average of at least 60% in their first-year modules to continue on the course. One of the main aims of the program is for graduates to be eligible for exemptions from the CAP1 and CAP2 Chartered Accountants Ireland, LW, PM, TX, FR and FM and AA professional qualifications and equivalent exemptions from the professional qualification on successful completion of the program other accounting institutions.

We constantly review and change course content to ensure that the content and focus of all course modules will also help prepare you for the final stages of your professional accountant qualification. In addition to the mentioned examination exceptions, the student is directed to develop the key skills necessary for an accountant in a constantly changing business and ethical environment.
