Course Details

Computer science degree programs are on-site or online interdisciplinary programs offered by the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and the Department of Computer Science. The Computer Science program gives you an education that goes beyond the basics and explores advances in computer theory, programming languages, programming systems, hardware integration and information technology. In both departments, you can take courses on a wide range of subjects, from theoretical to applied.

If you have an undergraduate background with a suitable computer science context, you can apply and expand your knowledge. Clarkson University has an excellent reputation for science and technology. The Department of Computer Science offers both a Ph.D. and Master's Degree (MS). The MS program has two options: a research-based thesis option and a professionally oriented non-thesis option. Both programs can be completed in person or online.
