Course Details

 Our MSc in Cyber Security (Conversion)  is aimed at both engineering and non-engineering students who want to jump into the fast-growing field of cyber security. The aim of the course is to provide both theoretical and real-world practical skills and knowledge in the emerging field of cyber security.

The Cybersecurity Facility is part of the Department of Computer Science, which was founded in 1985 and is an innovative, forward-thinking department. The course is taught by industry experts with years of industry experience and close links with industry, government and law enforcement. The course is taught at Thornton Science Park, which provides an excellent learning environment with dedicated specialist resources, including virtualisation facilities and a dedicated cyber security laboratory for specialist workshops.
The department also has an Informatics Center, and a software team, where students get experience with business projects.
