Artificial intelligence is one of the most exciting and fastest-growing areas of ICT and science. It has the potential to positively transform every aspect of our lives, from smart cities and autonomous vehicles to better healthcare and a low-carbon economy. Artificial intelligence is capable of providing intelligent solutions to help us tackle many of today's biggest societal challenges. Be part of this exciting development by joining the one-year MSc in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence.

This program is aimed at graduates with a basic qualification in Computer Science or a related field. This is not a refresher course but assumes that students already have a very high technical level of computer science training. The full-time MSc in Artificial Intelligence is taught by recognized interdisciplinary experts from the University of Galway. Over two semesters, it covers many complementary areas of AI, including deep learning, natural language processing, optimization and reinforcement. In addition, students reinforce their new skills in a 30-credit project completed over the summer. Here, students can have the opportunity to work with a research group or industrial partner.
