Course Details

In addition, you will learn basic business management skills related to a number of industries, but with a primary focus on the automotive industry.

At the beginning of the course, you will be assigned a current car topic that you can work on in group projects. This ensures that subject-based units are up-to-date and relevant to professional practice in the field. It also gives you the benefits of a personalized learning path. In addition to engineering studies, you will learn about the business and management of the automotive industry. Includes things like resource management, business processes, business theory and change management. All of this is designed to develop skills that will benefit you in your future career. An important part of this is working with our driving course students on group projects to create a collaborative and interdisciplinary learning environment. And our consulting project allows you to work with an industry partner on a real design management challenge.

The Bath MBA combines the latest teaching techniques with practical projects. You can take what you learn in the classroom and apply it to real business situations. Leadership and personal development form the backbone of the Bath MBA. You will do several projects, including one management project. You will also develop your personal skills through our workshop programme. You will have excellent opportunities to meet, network and build relationships with business leaders. 

All assessments focus on practical learning: job descriptions, presentations and other practical methods. We avoid exams because we think it's more important for you to practice what you've learned. • Combine core Computer Science modules with modules in Management, Strategy, Marketing and Accounting to prepare you for working with data in a leadership or management role
• Learn from teaching that draws directly from our particular research strengths in AI, machine learning, data science, high-performance computing and networks, and cyber-security
• Explore the latest techniques and technologies, and how to apply these to complex contemporary problems across the breadth of society
• Your project, which forms a major part of your Masters, will be business-focussed as you explore data science in a commercial environment.
